North Dakota Code Advisory Committee Hearing August 10-11
By legislative mandate, the North Dakota Department of Commerce, Division of Community Services is developing a State Building Code and reviewing amendments to the 2009 IECC (also the 2009 IBC, 2009 IRC, 2009 IMC, and 2009 IFGC). Energy conservation standards must be included in the State Building Code. The North Dakota Building Code Advisory Committee will meet August 10 and 11 in Bismarck to receive comments and develop recommendations on the proposed amendments. The tentative effective date for the updated state code is January 1, 2011.
